This is our indoor play room on days the weather is not cooperating. Aprox. 12' x 15'
These are three additional indoor pens when we have litters of different ages. The dividing walls are removable. These can vary from one large, to three pens according to our needs.

We also have another large building for seminars, shows and lessons. Our property has a beautiful off lease exercise area as well as fenced play areas.
Our door is always open if you would like to make an appointment to come see our dogs, or just to learn more about the breed. We are happy to share the following photos of our facility and welcome you to call or come by for a visit if you have any questions.
Boot Top Aussies has a full service facility. We have a separate building/home for our Aussies that includes and office, hospitality and evaluation area, new born nursing area, play rooms, grooming and bathing room.

This building has a solid cement floor and is currently utilized for seminars & handling lessons.
Our future plans are to heat, mat, and mirror part of this building for expanded classes and shows.

This corner of our grooming room has a table that can be dropped flat and transformed into an additional grooming station during seminars.
Our bathing station is complete with ample storage and a matted platform for first phase drying. Closed door is a full bathroom including refrigerator, microwave and medication storage. through the white walk-through gate takes you to dog a holding area and outside to more
of our play yards.
Our kennel has forced air heat and has central air conditioning. Front entrerance brings you into our grooming room.
Our grooming table is sturdy and rubber matted. A mirror is included for show grooms and grooming lessons. The traditional grooming arm is replaced with a iron bar with several
drilled options for hanging a grooming loop so up to three can groom in this area during
lessons and seminars.

Our hospitality room is used not only as a social room, but doubles at an evaluation room for the evaluation process between show/breeding prospects and pet/companion puppies. All along the ceiling we have displayed photos of our dogs receiving their National Titles, along with their Championship ribbons and medallions.
The sofa doubles as a pull-out bed for easy access to the nursery when monitoring new litters or expectant mama's.

Leaving the grooming room you enter our hospitality and evaluation room.
Our evaluation station is located in our hospitality room. Here is where we evaluate our litters and divide show/breeding prospects from pet/companion puppies. We also evaluate litters for other breeders as well. They can relax and observe the process. We weigh each puppy and evaluate looking into a mirror to get a true view of structure rather than looking down at the puppy. We also teach our evaluation process to other interested breeders. This is where our puppies get a chance to use their motor skills and begin to play with each other, explore the litter box, and begin to play with toys. They will also begin to go outside daily in their own outdoor puppy play area.
Our newborn nursery has four sections to it, although we have never used all four at the same time. It is elevated for better temperature control. The height also gives our moms a good comfort level, not having to worry about the other dogs that like to come into the office and lay under my desk while I'm working. The elevated nursery also makes it easier to monitor the puppies. Each section has two doors with a removable low rise divider in the middle. One side contains a heated floor mat covered with soft bedding and a removable side rail so the mama's can not lay on their babies by accident. The removable divider is short enough so our moms can easily step over it and get to the other side to take a break from their babies and lay on a cooler flooring if they decide they need a break. Our rolling ladder allows easy access. As soon as the babies open their eyes and begin trying to stand and walk (aprox. 10 days old) we remove the divider and guard rail and give the babies and their mother more space to begin exploring and trying out their new found legs. After aprox. a week of obtaining their motor skills they are moved to our kindergarten room.
We enter our nursery/office area through a glass sliding door. This gives us the opportunity to keep out nursery at the perfect temperature for our new babies and not overheat the rest of the kennel; making the other dogs too warm. Keeping our nursery at the perfect temperature is a very important part of raising stress free, healthy puppies.

Our office is intentionally located in our nursery so we can keep a close eye on our newborns.
