Visitors are always welcome at our kennel for anyone who wants to see our dogs or learn more about the breed!
We just recently moved to a new location. We started our kennel in Elmore, MN. A little community just on the Minnesota / Iowa border.
We now have an acreage just over the Minnesota border into Iowa.
We are about 20 minutes southwest of Albert Lea, MN. You can find us a few miles outside of Lake Mills, IA. We are very excited about the move. We have future plans for a full service facility offering training and classes for both dogs and handlers in a indoor show ring atmosphere and more room for our fur family to run and play.
When I began my search for the best Toy Aussies that I could find to start my breeding program I found Ruth Vanderhoof of Pocket Aussies. She has been my mentor and dear friend ever since. I have a true passion to be known as a breeder that assisted in taking our breed to the next level of excellence. Ruth has placed some of the best bloodlines in the country in my program. I am forever grateful for her trust in me and her hours of "talking dogs" that she has spent with me to teach me the breed. Our emphasis is on"True Aussie Type" and "True Aussie Minds". Here at Boot Top Aussies, we breed not only for beautiful bodies, but also for beautiful temperaments. As you will read in my "WHY BOOT TOP" page you will see the extensive process that all of my puppies go through during their first 9 weeks of life. I take great pride in the number of repeat fur-family members that come back to me for a second puppy due to the extensive socialization that we do here at Boot Top. All of our dogs are treated like they are the only dog that we have. Everyone gets their own personal time with us and gets their turn going for rides in the car when we go anywhere.
